IR 231G impact gun problem.

My gun just started running all the time after its hooked up to air supply without pulling the trigger. Have it tore down but see nothing that just sticks out. Thanks for the help in advance.

I'll be watching this thread. I have a 17 year old 231 that just keeps going. Would be nice to know what kinds of things can actually happen to these air guns.

Simply sounds like a sticking or damaged throttle valve or valve seat. Or possibly a broken valve spring.

Sounds kinda similar to what was going on with my snap on gun. Just not as extreme.
Mine was a bad valve seat

Don't these have an O-ring sealing against the trigger seat? I think that'd be the first place I'd look. If the trigger stays depressed, the pin that lifts the valve sometimes gets rusty and sticks.
