IR air tool trigger pin

I recently got an IR air cut off tool, the spring trigger pin is bent out of the box. This makes flipping the trigger a trying affair, depending on the orientation of the bend in the pin.

Now the tool is fine, except this issue. Is it easy to pull the pin and straighten or replace? I really don't like to return things. Has anyone removed/serviced the pin?

It is IR 326, to be clear, it is the pin that holds the spring trigger. Because the pin is bent, when flipping the trigger, it sometimes does not clear the cut out and can't rotate to activate the trigger. Is this pin serviceable, it appears to be pressed in.
