We use WEG motors as our standard pump motor where I work, they are very good motors.
WEG is based out of Brazil

Just found that one again in a TP tools ad I get in the mail. More info this time, -
Maybe they have it online ?? Yep, it's online as well,-

15.2 cfm @175 psi.
5 horse 22 amp motor
Oh and this time the ad says 50,000 hour pump life.
It doesn't beat the $1000 IR compressor, but it's alright.
This one here, -

Same one I gave detailed info on earlier. It went up a little in price.
NOTHING Chinese on this unit. At TSC, well the one here likes giving you 10% off of items like this as well. Good deal for the money IMO.

EDIT: Go check out that Quincy as well. I believe Lowes carries it now.
Here is the lowes link. I have 10% off (first time home buyer) and 5% for opening lowes card. 15% off air compressor would be awesome.
Always check to be sure you can stack discounts like that to avoid disappointment at the register.

Yea I didn't see those specs at Northern the first time around. They are there now! Yea, it was bugging me why they didn't have them. I guess I missed them first time around. Damn..I did check a few times; checked all the tabs for more info. Iduno, - maybe I didn't scroll down far enough? Anyway, that's good. If Nothern isn't far away I would check it out and possibly purchase if I liked what I seen. I'm curios which Motor they using, -what are the motor rpms and if it's a Baldor or whatnot. Pump speed is sort of on the high side so....Yea , just curious
I like them both! I'd still go with the IR though... More air (20 gal more) and better CFMs is always plus. Also it's set up to run 3/4" or 1/2". The Quincy might be as well, you'll have to check that out in person. Either one isn't a bad choice. I'd want to check that Quincy out in person first.
If I were to step up a notch. The Champions would be next in line ; price-wise anyway.
