Grabbed this from being tossed just because I figured I'd grab the filter, water separator, shutoff & fittings off of it. All I know about it is that it is "not working". I can't answer anything about it other than what you see here. I don't even know what it's uses would be other than google tells me it's a refrigerated air dryer.

Once I get what I want off of it is there any reason I shouldn't just toss it on the scrap metal pile? Would rather not if it might still be useful to someone.

Why not do a little troubleshooting and see if you can fix it. Could be worth several hundred bucks if it turns out to be an easy fix.
Figured it might be worth looking at for someone seeing as AFAICT it looks to run about 2K new, but that someone is not me. I know less than nothing about what might be wrong with it or how to fix it.

Looks like it's destined for the scrapyard for the $1 or so I'll get out of it unless someone wants to pay for shipping they can have it. On that note, it's s pretty heavy. Probably 35-45 lbs
