Lisle makes the same thing but in a much simpler manner. They simple make a very thick walled socket. The idea is that F=ma. Increase the mass increase the force. Newton is never wrong. They work.

It does appear that the ring will get in the way if you're trying to use the 15/16" socket on a small block Ford crank pulley (very deeply recessed). If someone has one and can test fit, please do!

i have the Lisle 19mm version of this socket. It made removing a Honda crankshaft bolt effortless! I highly recommend, even for a one time use.
