I have a shot at an OLD IR type 30 compressor for peanuts, because it is in need of a rebuild. Can anyone comment on the parts availability of these machines and the quality?
Jim,
I just replaced the finger valves and gaskets on my old T30. I got the parts from a site called ecompressedair.com. There were a ton of sites that sold parts but I ended up with them. The kit cost $17.00 plus shipping. The parts were good quality and they shipped fast.
Good Luck!
Terry
The T30 product has been around since the 1930s and Ingersoll-Rand still offers parts for most of those older models. I'd recommend calling your local distributor for a parts manual and parts pricing.
