Hey guys, does anybody own the 20V task light Ingersoll Rand makes (L5110). I'm curious if it's usable or just a strong spot beam. I'd like it for working in the engine bay after the sun goes down and also to illuminate wheel wells for doing brakes as well as under the car stuff. I currently own a streamlight stinger LED but it can't always be positioned to where i need it and it's more of a spot beam than a flood light. I don't want pure flood, but a combination of both. I also own one of those stick LED lights with a magnet like a shop light.

I got and have used the light. It's awesome, even during the day. Since you mostly work in one spot, it illuminates what you need it to. If anyone wants day or night shots of what the light does, let me know.

Definitely worth every penny. I was doing a blower motor resistor on an 04 grand marquis in the daylight and of course the shadows always fall where you're working. I grabbed the light, put it on the strut tower and realized it was the wrong angle. Popped the hook out and hung out from a hole in the hood and it was perfect. Great amount of light in the right spot with a tiny bit of flood. I bet it would be awesome at bought but I haven't tried it yet.
