Well Tank, I certainly admire your honesty. We've done it both ways. When I gave the Proto J150WP away a few months back there was no video, entry was in-thread only. Different manufacturers want to see different things and I didn't think a YouTube comment was too much to ask.

Daniel and I are friends. There isn't a competition or a rivalry, we're just 2 people that exist in the same world. Daniel (Woodstockva) does great videos, but we're going at 2 different angles. He goes for the longer in-depth video whereas we go for the overview type video. We're approaching 30,000 subscribers and many people here are readers, so it isn't like we're trying to use a giveaway to get off the ground, just trying to be a good citizen.

Maybe the next giveaway will suit your taste better

As a heads up, you may want to post the URL, in a way where the video doesn't populate. Mobile users only see an embedded video that pops up in screen, which doesn't link easily to YouTube. This is making it harder for mobile users to post a comment.

Hope that makes sense, I too want this giveaway to resonate well.
