Arrived today. Thanks to Factory Authorized Outlet for the most lame-assed packing job ever -- not one shred of packing material, just tossed into a big box.

What retards.

Surprising, my 2015 hammerhead was wrapped in about 10 feet of air wrap.

Just to double check -- did you purchase your hammerhead from FAO? If that's the case, then I too am surprised that they did a good job packing up your hammerhead, and such a lousy job packing up mine.

Perhaps they were pissed-off that I found a good price from their Newegg store that was lower than the price on their own online store. If that's the case, then maybe they just did a crappy packing job out of spite, just because the price I paid was lower than what they're charging now.

On the other hand, maybe my packing guy was just a lazy bum.

Got mine via rakuten.com, but factoryauthorizedoutlet was the actual seller who shipped me the item. I got the 2015 for a steal of a deal as well, approx $155 which is far less than FAO sells on their site

Haven't had too much to try it out on other than the coil over shock nuts (15mm) and the upper control arm bolts (21mm) on a 09 f150 today. The shock nuts were no match for the power and the UCA bolts came loose after about 5 seconds of trigger time. Seemed to work great!

Everyone in the shop likes it so far, I have a feeling a few others will be purchasing one in the near future. Our tool truck guys are a joke and rarely offer a trial or demo of any new tools, so the techs here in the shop look to me to be the guinea pig, lol.

*edit mine is the 3/8" model, both have the same power output though, just different drive sizes*

Looking back on what you said you paid for the 1/2" hammerhead (which is actually the IR2025max, not 2035max like your title says) versus what I paid for the 3/8"... one would figure my product would have been shipped in a plastic shopping bag with a shipping label elmers glued to it.

Fingers made a mistake because I ordered a 2235 on the same day.
