Might depend on zip code. It went down to $200 when I added to my cart and then 185 when I applied the coupon.

Works for the Lakeland Sears.

I saved the checkout page last night. When I get home tonight I will post a link to the PDF so you all can print it.

I also have saved the checkout page for the 1/2" 2135TiMAX that I can put up for you guys.

When I see these deals I add to cart and get to checkout and then print to PDF to save it. The PDF has the website URL so they know it is legit.

I am not sure what happened to my past post....

I have saved the checkout page for this as well as the 1/2" IR gun.

When I get home I will post both so that they can be printed abs taken to Sears so that the price can be matched.

Been looking at the Q version for awhile... this price is too good to pass up. Guess I'll wear my ear plugs! Thanks for the heads up.:D

The 1/2" IR is not really what I would call loud. My 3/8 Campbell-Hausfeld air ratchet is louder, my Craftsman 1/2 impact is louder as well.

But it is always a good idea to remember your eye and ear protection.

Went to use mine tuesday for the first time...has no torque at all! Wouldn't even remove the plastic lug nuts for the center caps on a 2500 chevy truck. Called IR, since has a 2 year warranty, and also because its out of the return date for sears. The only 2 options given by customer service... drive 3 hour round trip to nearest authorized center or pay shipping to Dallas. Really??

Waiting to hear back from them to see if they'll issue a call tag as those options are totally unacceptable to me.

That's crazy... my 3/8" works like a champion! All the torque in the world and then some.

So they will fix or replace it for free, if you get the original back to them, but that's still not good enough for you? What more do you want?

What more do i want? I don't want ANYMORE money out of my pocket for a new gun that should work right out of the box. How is it my fault that QC let it go out the door and i have to pay to ship it back to them?

Anyways, IR warranty manager agreed with me and gave me their ups info to issue a pick up.

Yea but that is why you have a return policy from Sears. Try it out and if it doesn't work return it for a refund or a replacement. If you bought it and never tried it that is your fault. I'm think it is ir responsibitly to repair or replace and it is your responsibility to get it to them. Either way glad it worked out for u.

Its past the sears return policy date for replacement or refund, i tried that first. If i had've got some use out of it and then broke, yes i would happily pay to have it shipped if within the warranty. Out of the box, regardless of how long i waited, no i don't expect to pay for their quality controls screw up.

I don't think it's unreasonable for the manufacturer to expect the consumer to return it for a free replacement.

If you had been within the time window to return to sears, would you have been ok with that, or would you have expected sears to come and pick it up? It's no different.

The cost of shipping is a trivial thing to make fuss about.

What's the big deal about paying to return it for repair. You can ship it via priority mail flat rate box for less than $10. You don't want to pay $10 to have an expensive item repaired ?

You should have tried it to verify it works within the return period at Sears.

I hope you don't complain that the replacement item has a scratch on it.

If you want to make it into a Q version, just pack some red scotchbrite into the exhaust in the handle. That's what IR does, if you look closely you can see the white lettering against the red "packing". Did it by cutting strips and pushing them through the oval holes at the base of the gun. Quieted my 2135timax and my buddy's. So far no noticeable power drop.
