Moved from where to Spain?

Irega is a Spanish company. Weren't they always made in Spain? If not, they've been made in Spain for as long as I've been aware of the company, which is maybe 6-8 years.

Looking for the best adjustable spanner? Irega tools is Europe’s leading specialist manufacturer in this field for more than 50 years. Founded in 1945, Irega tools is the only company in the world exclusively dedicated to the manufacture of adjustable spanners. As a dedicated wrench manufacturer, with total control of its own production plant in Spain, Irega has gained an enviable reputation - anticipating and meeting the needs of its customer base such as plumbers, electricians, maintenance engineers and fitters, by focusing its resources on the development of new technology, new manufacturing techniques and new product development.

They make the best adjustable wrench on the market, imo. Just buy the Irega adjustable wrench you're looking at, you won't be disappointed. Though you may want to price check the Irega Channellocks if not just for their availability, you can find more Channellock than Irega at Amazon(last time I checked) so you may save on shipping.

I have a couple of Irega adjustable wrenches. Good quality, never let me down.

They will likely last longer than I do, as long as my kids or grandkids don't borrow and lose them

Most quality wrenches seem to either be re-brands by Irega or Wilde these days. Not seeing too many other manufacturers out there besides the cheap chinese stuff. Both Irega and Wilde make great wrenches.

Oh I did not realise - I thought Irega were initially in the USA.

I know Bahco moved to Spain from Sweden and some of the new adjustable spanners do not look a patch on the Swedish manufactured exports.

Think I may give Irega a whirl.

Each to there own but any preference as to rubber handle or traditional ?

If you do get the rubber and don't like it, it can be cut off revealing the regular style handle underneath. Alternatively you can buy a regular handle, and put the rubber handle on.
