Hi, I've been on this site a lot, just trying to take it all in. This place is packed to the rafters with amazing spaces, wonderful ideas and beautiful cars. I love it.
So, time to get involved. Like many on here I'm a car nut, borderline obsessed. Finally the dream of owning my own place is within grasp and the garage will come to fruition.

Been viewing a few potential homes, unfortunately almost all have tiny garages, some have none. With so many amazing garages and fabulous work spaces on here, I too would like such a place, but on a tiny budget.

I may stick my nose in here and there for help or info, all will be much appreciated. Looking forward to contributing to the forum.

Galway based car fanatic.

Welcome to the GJ, you can make a small garage work with some smart storage and organisation. There are some great examples of thinking out of the square on the forum. Enjoy.

Welcome Irish car nut :rocker:Only sticking your nose in now and again is'nt good enough, it must be quite often. Should I read your messages in an Irish tone to get the real feel, like I do an Ozzy for Arfer (1/2cup).:shocking:

Thanks for the welcome lads.
@1/2 cup, your right about what can be done with a small garage, I've been inspired by so many well thought out miracles of packaging I've seen on this forum. If only I could have the Australian weather here, how I miss it. Its not ideal having multiple layers of clothes and a wolly cap, while I try to keep my fingers from freezing, while being indoors..... The sooner I get out of this "house" the better.

@firecracker, cheers mate, I always like to read with an accent too, go for it.

@angelfire, I knew there would be a fellow irish person on here, good stuff. I love Meath, wanna swap places? (this place is freezing!)

@ralphlong, I like the DeLoren, not sure if I'd say I love it though. My automotive love rotates, but I'm a huge fan of large capacity Vs too. If your a DeLoren fan, I might have some interesting info for you regarding the whereabouts of some key manufacturing components.

Cheers again guys, I'm trying not to let the other half know I'm planning the garage before anything/everything else, so this is our little secret, ok? (if she finds out it won't be all bad, I'll just have space for another car.... :)

Fellow Irishman on the boards? Sort of. I'm a yank but spent 4 years here from 1997-2001. Now back for another year or ? My wife grew up here and I've been naturalized as a citizen so I'm a bit of a half breed if you will...haha. And it's not much better here...******* sideways so it is!

If you survived 4 years in this place, left, then came back for more....... your more Irish than I am :)
Hope the stormy weather isn't hitting you guys too hard. Kick back, feet up and have a beer or a cuppa and say, **** it.
I might be back to ask you for tips on a garage, apologies in advance.

**** it, no change in the weather?, sounds like here too mostly :)
Although, would you believe there isn't a single cloud in the sky today....
I reckon something is up, must be the end of the world or something
