I'm looking for YOUR PHOTOS of Irwin #200 Screwdrivers for some research.
In particular, I'm interested in the TEXT FONT on the red wooden handles.
Was the text straight, Italic, or a mix of both (as seen in this photo)?
Did the white text lettering easily wear off the red handle?
If worn off, was any 'Impression' still remaining?
Your assistance would be appreciated.

Oh how I love those old Irwin screwdrivers...

First thing to go was the paint and then the lettering, I found one just last night, an Irwin but not a #200. Yes the paint was all gone along with the lettering , I would have bought it but the rust was to much even for me sigh...:sad::sad:

Hope that helps you out a little bit love your screwdrivers like **** too me.:rocker:

Interesting to note that they were made in Wilmington, Ohio about 63 miles from my house as the crow flies...

Looking at the ebay prices ouch... Wow over $55.00 dollars for a very nice one, no wonder all I can afford are the worn out ones...

THANX for the replies, woody 73. Unfortunately, I missed that auction, and only have the photo. I do have some other #200, but the text is all gone. I've been wondering if the text was actually stamped in, or more like silk screening/rolled on (leaving white paint only above the handle)?

I didn't see anybody respond, but I am curious, do you collect these Irwin screwdrivers?

I had a couple... my research mainly revolved around the text fonts used.
(it may have varied over time)
