Advance Auto has this set of Irwin bolt extractors 40% off for $19.25. Far cheaper than anywhere else on the web. Because it's a sale item, coupons and promo codes won't work. Package said Made in USA with US and global components. Act fast, it looks like local inventory is limited.

I like to have extractors on hand before I need them. I have a few different styles, but I think this style works great and the deep well feature may come in handy.

Was going to use a 20% coupon, but then saw this
"This product is on sale and is not eligible for any further promotional discounts, coupons or special offers."

Still appears to be decently priced

After looking at the website, they also have the regular extractors on sale as well.

I think these are the same as the Craftsman version. With the Craftsman, the case that comes with one 5pc set has spaces for all 10 extractors. I'm guessing it's the same with these Irwin sets. The Craftsman used to go on sale for $10/set, but it's been over a year since I've seen them that low. Usually $20/set now when they're on sale.

The normal depth extractors are $16-something on sale. I have a set of probably late-90's Craftsman Bolt-Outs, and these Irwins appear to be identical except for the markings stamped on them. The Patent number on both sets is the same.

However, the older Craftsman set is sized by numbers (rather than bolt size). My old red-cased set included #3 (3/8"), #5 (7/16" or 11mm), #7 (1/2"), #9 (9/16" or 14mm), #10 (5/8" or 16mm). The newer Craftsman sets don't skip sizes, so I hadn't been able to buy the fillers I needed.

The Irwin set matches the older Craftsman sizing, and so the Irwin add-on set fit perfectly into the empty spots in my red CM case!

Those seem like they would be real life savers for someone that works on exhaust systems or exhaust manifolds. I don't really need them, but might have to pick up a set to have just in case. I'd rather have them sit in my tool chest for a few years unused, then come to the day that I need them and don't have them. I have the full Craftsman line, but I like the idea of having some deep well versions.

I have $5 speed perks, but total only comes to $19.25 and I need $20. What can I get for $1 that I'll actually use?

when im in spots like that i think about if i need any fluids like brake clean or whatnot. running low on anti seize or maybe some sort of silicone products. may cost more then a dollar but you still get to save it on whatever you pick

Yea I bought one of those little packets of brake quiet once and a roll of wire loom last time I was in this position. I can't think of anything I need.

Cotter pins are my favorite to push an order over a coupon threshold. The local store has a jar of cheap under a dollar hardware parts right at the register for this reason.

Used them today on some old reverse lights on my dump truck. They just make things quick and easy. Put the 7/8" box end on and ripped it off lol... That's how good they grip...

I'm trying to add the Gearwrench 40424A hex and torx set from the flyer as a filler and can't get it to show up on the website. I was in the store earlier and they had it with all the other Gearwrench stuff that was 40-50% off. It's even in their online flyer. I guess I'll go back to the store tomorrow.

I don't know why I couldn't get that bit set to come up on their website. I went by the store today and picked up and Irwin set and the bit set. The bit set was $35.99. I finally used one of my $10 off $40 coupons before it expired.

I needed some parts today so I grabbed the shallow set while I was at it. Great price and I love their online discount codes. I saved $40 off a $150 order.

I just bought the shallow set and the case barely fits. I have to squeeze the heck out of it to get it to latch. Anyone else have this problem? Wondering if I should return it.
