I was at Lowe's today and was looking at the Knipex Cobra locking pliers. While I was there, I noticed these Irwin Vice Grip Groove Lock pliers.

They looked pretty nice, and was wondering if anyone on the board has used them and has any comments.

(Yeah, I know, the Knipex are made in Germany, and the Irwins are made in Taiwan.)

I have them. Ice had them for about 6 months now and I really like them. They have held up very well so far and I like the lock on them because they haven't slipped when I'm using them. Plus I can set them on the groove I want and use them and don't have to reposition them if I have to put them down and then use them again later

They are ok, but I really haven't used them very often. I personally don't like the feel of the handles.
