Dunno how this works out for all stores, as one of mine local had these on display and another did not, but, for the one that did:

Irwin Quick-Grip 2-pack for $24.97 - Buy a 12" XP600 Clamp and get a 12" SL300 clamp free.

The 12" XP600 is $24.97 on it's own at Home Depot or Amazon, whereas the 12" SL300 is $19.97 at HD or Amazon, so this seems to be a pretty sweet deal.

I happened to be over at the HD in the town I work in, where they had the displays of these in the front area where they do the seasonal stocking-stuffer type stuff.

Drove today to the HD in another town (closer to home) to pick up a couple more for a Christmas gift, and they didn't have any displays of them, or any on the shelf, only the single clamps for the prices above. Had to drive to work-town to get them.

These things are pretty sweet - unlike my older/smaller Quick-Grips, these allow you to remove the front/dynamic jaw and put it on the back end of the rail to turn these into a spreader.

Check your local stores - I would imagine that the store close to me that did NOT have it would likely end up getting these displays later, but I dunno. These are a pretty good deal now, didn't want to lose out.

Are these the ones with the plastic silver body and bold script? If so my store's got the same deal up front. They LOOK cool but that's about it for me..........if it can't withstand sparks and slag it's not much good to me.

They've got a silver plate on them, yeah.

They're not really designed for that kind of work, but they're great for other stuff. I absolutely love the ones I've got, and they've come in phenomenally handy for building bookshelves and other furniture-type stuffs.
