I got a 2-pack set (8" and 10") for my birthday. They look pretty useful. Does anyone have these?

Irwin offers some pretty good tools. Careful saying that though. Will get bashed here for saying anything good about the Chinese made Irwin tools.

I have not used those particular pliers, but I have seen them being used by some professional tradesman these days.

I got some as a gift when they first came out, they do okay. I don't use them too much. They're a reasonable facsimile of Knipex Cobra pliers at a fraction of the price, made in China with hard plastic soft-touch grips. I keep the Cobras (Craftsman label) in my box and the Groovelocks are in the kitchen.

I have those Irwins, I really like them. the push button adjustment is far better then the old style tongue and grove. been using them for maybe 2 years now, no issues. the teeth seem to be holding up fine. The handle grips have a texure to them so they are hard to keep clean junk tends to fill in the little depressions, but they don't show any signs of wear.
