Is a shed subpanel the first or additional service/feeder?

I am confused as I am applying for the electrical inspection online.

An additional service/feeder is a $30 fee and a first service/feeder is $95.

This is a 60A subpanel in the shed coming from a 60A breaker in my main panel.

Thanks.

logically to me it would be the second feeder but this really depends on your layout and the AHJs definitions.

I would call them tomorrow and ask.

The first service/feeder in this case is simply based on how many they will be inspecting. It really doesn't matter were it is.

I agree with brewchief. If they come out to inspect a service/feeder, that's the "first" one and it's $95. If they inspect any others while they're there, it's another $30. Just my guess anyway, I'd call them to confirm.

Damn, did they make the NEC so vague with code as to confuse your interpretation of it?

We need a NEC with pictures for us layman. Makes sense now though, it is not asking for what you have in place but what you want to get inspected, so $95 for the first one and $30 for an additional one.

Thanks all.

If we notice they didnt call it a sub panel but a service feeder. It's actually a service to a detached structure from another service.
