Is anyone using a KRA276D for a tool display?

I was looking for a case that would work for a tool display at local antique shops and didn't really have much luck. It seems most of the the displays are being used in the stores and aren't for sale. Anyway i'm down to using a piece of barn board to hang the tools on, or i saw one of these on the snap on website. Is anyone using a KRA276D to display vintage tools? I have a bunch of 29/30 snap on stuff i want to put somewhere other than a cardboard box in the closet...

Yea i know they are stupid expensive, and i'm an idiot this is an edit i just found the tool board for it, they are a solid 205.00 from SO. for some reason you couldn't link to it from the box...

I use it to display my pullers. Seriously, though, I don't see any reason why you couldn't put some peg board in the back.

Mebbe because they are $750 new?

For vintage tools, I think an oak shadowbox with period hardware would look good, then again I'm still using my 1910ish forge blower, and my 20's vintage block planes. I may make something with a sign on it, "Break glass in case of power outage"

Hey, if you don't need the tools on display to actually match the board they are being displayed on, I have a medium-sized Snap-on display for vintage AC service tools that I might need to get rid of. Fading paint means it's priced to move.

Hey, sorry to resurrect this thread, but I have one of these display cases you guys were referring to. KRA276D I have no real use for it as I don't own the pullers from snap on. I would be willing to part with it if anyone is interested. I definately wont want $715 dollars for it that's for sure. Pm me if interested.
