Is compressor oil suppossed to look like this.

Just changed my compressor oil. Tge prior owner put this in. The new Husky non detergent oil from home depot I got is crystal clear. Is it suppossed to look like this? Almost greenish diarhea brown.

May a little moisture from not running long enough to get hot.
Is the new oil synthetic?

Never seen that , as you stated it's like new engine oil clear.
If I would gather a guess I'd say there was a lot of moisture in there

Yep new oil is cull synthetic

I buy mine on eBay or Amazon and get gallon jugs of industrial compressor oil. Full Syn, ISO 100 viscosity grade.

The extra oil that came with my compressor is that light honey color.

Places like HF sell comressor oil that looks pretty close to that color

Yep new oil is cull synthetic

Usually any thing known as a CULL doesn’t meet specifications and isn’t sold to the public.
