I'm trying to work out the interior or my pole barn that is coming in a few weeks.

I found some foil faced poly ISO on craigslist for $5 a sheet. It's one inch thick.

My building is 30x48x12 on 8' centers. It should be easy to install in between the posts and wouldn't have to even do any(or very much) cutting. I run full sheets one way then stagger the other.

If my math ummm rough math is right it would be somewhere around $275 a layer and two layers would be the most cost efficient.

Biggest thing I am worried about is fire, fire codes, and my insurance company. Anyone know if this stuff is required to be covered?

Foam plastic insulation usually always needs 1/2 gypsum board or equivalent when on the interior of a building
