i can get as much foam as I want (see picture), just not sure if it is worth the hassle. Girts and Purlins are 2' oc. Rigid foam insulation with fiberglass and steel skins. Assorted sizes (most look to be 2' by 4'). Full pallets (W48"xL96"xH60")

Depends on what you are going to do with it.

Will be using a condensation blanket on the ceiling (live in the NW, mild climate). Can use this for "extra" insulation between purlins, and wall girts. Heck for it being free....I am tempted to put it under the slab.

Is that the guy in Tacoma, Wa.?

I considered it... said they would ONLY load onto a trailer (load height). It's Poly-Iso and good for concrete walls. Think it's left overs from garage door manufacturing.

Finally decided to not be so cheap and bought the crappy 1" foam for $13 a sheet (4x8).

Polyiso is expensive. I built an exposed structure in my living space, roughly 600 sq ft. area with 2 layers of 3.5" polyiso each with new deck and shingles on top of the polyiso.

It was like 2 pallets for something like $1,800. It's best used in multiple layers, continuously over the substrate, staggered one on top of the other to prevent thermal bridging. No venting is required.

Virtually any conditioned big box store across the USA has roof insulated this way.

Cutting and placing between purlins or studs is called "cut and cobble." Not ideal, but for free I would take it in a heartbeat.

Use it under the floor and a heavy mil plastic sheeting the Von rete.....the concrete will never touch the Iso. This us a no brainer. Don't use it all? Give it away.

The picture isn't the best, but that sure doesn't look like Poly-iso. (R-6 per inch) I've never seen any that isn't faced, and I looked around and couldn't find any just now.

There's two possibilities of what it is. Expanded Polystyrene, which is R-4 per inch. If that's what it is, go for it.
If it's bead board, I wouldn't waste my time. But, it's your time.
