So who's' been shopping there recently? :pimpflash

Personally I haven't gone out buying anything really anywhere in over a month or more. But I do need some shop supplies soon though. And new catalog says current coupon expiration (April and May) will be extended out a full month more until the end of June and there will also will no be price increases at the present time. :wtf:

I was just looking over my MAY Catalog from Harbor Freight. Some decent ads like an entire Herc cordless package battery and charger for one $89.99 price (finally)

KC will be happy with that :lol_hitti

They even went back down to $39.99 on those little Central Air compressors that had bumped up to as high $54 over the early part of the year. I watch those because I have flip them at my market under the tool tent in the past.

New Yukon cart has $30 off. there was a post about that recently I remember.

Also a few sporadically hidden 20% off coupons like on the miter saw stands, any oscillating tool or $50 off any greenhouse.

But what really caught my eye was the #54266723 BRAUN 3 in 1 light anybody have it or can give any reviews? Looks pretty cool...can be sticklight, flashlight and a flex wand too. It's $10 off with coupon

Went yesterday. There was one person in line to get in & about 40 people in line to check out (all the way to the back of the store). Didn't bother going walking the door.

The light is kinda cool, feel like they should have just made everything thread together. I can see that quick connect breaking/not making good connection after heavy use. If I didn't already have an old smashed up matco led light bar and cheap ultrafire 18650 celled led flashlight, at home, I'd buy one. I use streamlights at work, they get dropped a lot

Eh, even when I do go in there I usually regret it. Not because of the products, the Pittsburgh ratchets and the tarps work fine (I put a new pair on the back of the wood sheds each fall). It's getting hassled for a phone number, then for an email address, then for membership in their club, come on you'll save money! When I buy something I want you to tell me my total and take my payment, that's it. Hence I tend to shop elsewhere as there is very little worth buying there that they sell cheaply enough to make it worth the hassle of checking out there. 20% off coupons? Yeah, 20% off anything in the store that doesn't cost more than $5.

I've gone to HF 4 times since the quarantine started here in Michigan. No issues each time, I get what I need and leave without issues.

I need to go to pick up some nitrile gloves, but I'm imagining they're out of stock like everywhere else. If anyone can confirm, let me know.

Yea, no nitrile gloves. Said they donated them to hospitals. Been out a while. Haven't been listed online. They are listed in the May catalog, but when try to order it says store item only. Local stores are 0 stock.

Autozone and Oreilly is the only stores I have been in since Feb.

Wife picked up an electric pressure sprayer and Hardy gloves. No rubber gloves.

I'm waiting to see if they start offering their boxes in white like the cart. Anyone heard anything about whether this will happen or not?

Recently I have been able to get some - nitrile 3 & 7 mil, no 5 mil in XL or XXL (or they're all gone when I arrive) around here.

No issues at local store except no nitrile gloves.

Oh boy...we may never see the nitrile gloves again

I just bought 100 pr. XL (2 boxes) in the metro Ft. Lauderdale FL area. Plenty on the shelves for whoever wanted them.

I did notice that there were a lot of vacant spaces in the displays, not usually the case. Looks like supply chains are drying-up.

Speaking of gloves... I worked at a state college, a couple of years-ago, we were offered a pallet of US government surplus gloves for our EMS education program. All we needed to-do, was to provide transport, and pick /em up. Free. Since everything had to go through Central Supply, and then be stored in our space, we didn't really have the storage. We had to pass.

I am hoping for this as well. If the 56 or the 72 comes out in white I think that will push me over the edge to buy one.

HF has come a long way over time. They still have some low-quality stuff, but there's usually a step or two up from that.

I think most of the Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh Pro hand-tools/sockets/etc. are excellent price-for-value, and the Icon hand tools are generally excellent (and outstanding when price is factored in).

The US General carts/boxes are fantastic. Even the $85 tech cart I had was great - I just outgrew it and replaced it with a Gen2 5-drawer.

I think their power tools have come a long way, but I'm not going to trust the longevity and there's not enough commonality/options for batteries.

Ah well, all those places have different means of doing their registers these days. No big deal here. If you have an issue with something it’s your easy ticket to a refund if you lose your receipt like all of us do.
Our store was business as usual. Everybody dressed in their Jessy James train robber masks doing as they always do.

I get that and if when I told them I didn't want to bother with that, they just went ahead and rang me up I wouldn't have a problem. When they spend more time haranguing me for all this information I do not want to give them and they do not need to make the sale than it takes to ring me up? Yeah, big BIG reason I will pay more to shop elsewhere. I go in there very rarely and it's only maybe once or twice a year I decide anything in the store is worth the hassle of checking out.
I'll wear a mask in a store the day my buddy sends me the pair I asked for. One embroidered with "Put the money in the bag" and it's cousin "We're here for the bank's money, not yours." I've only been hassled once over masks and I no longer spend my money in that store (not HF).
