Must be budget cuts. Had to get rid of American staff and replace with American prison inmates doing time in India at an abandoned call center.

I was getting it all evening, until now. Was OK during the day today.
I think that is a server side error "508 Resource Limit Is Reached".... not client / browser.... ....
I thought I was the only lucky one that got it few times during the whole day....

I have seen it now and still have no idea what it is. Some one had to send me a message to show me.
Time of day does appear to be the issue here. A location for you would help me get a better idea as to where every one is that sees this issue.

This is the error , it is not any particular thread specific... next time I'll note the time it happens.... but should be in your err logs.

1 - 2pm est yesterday too. I was cleaning up subscriptions ... not posting... got it three times... two in a row... banged mouse on forehead... didn't help.
I was only on for a few minutes last night after 9-930pm and I didn't see it.
If I try to open posts in new tabs I almost always get it. I try to open two or three posts in separate tabs so I can keep scrolling and go back to threads I like. That's when it usually pops up and then I can't get back in for a while. Usually around the times between noon and 2pm EST. I'm in Indianapolis,IN.

As I stated before multiple times for me and the GJ icon on my saved favorites would disappear and then show up later.
Multiple times in Monday. 0900, 1300, 1700, 1900 hours

That's funny Pines.I'm glad it's not just me getting the "error 508" message - I seem to be getting it every time that I log on at home for the last couple of days (evenings mostly).
I thought that it might have just been my lousy internet, so I tried it at work yesterday (around lunchtime down under) and still got it.
I'm at work now so I can't stick around to enjoy it while it lasts - I hope that it's still working this evening.

Must be something to do with the server update that was done recently as the times do not appear to mean anything. I have only seen it once when another member sent me a copy of the 508 warning.

Probably more than a coincidence.
What I don't get is why this is so difficult.
cat access.log | grep " 508 " | cut -d "[" -f2 | cut -d":" -f1-2 | uniq -c
In a few seconds, I would have a data for a histogram of 508 errors by hour. Or check the monitoring logs... You have those, right?
