The handle shape is ok. More of a gimmick that doesn't help or hinder.

The material is another matter. Unless you have just washed your hands in acetone, they slip when putting any torque on them. Having a rag handy to wrap around them is a must. This is where a square handle like an SK or Mac shines.

i beg to differ on that point, i work with dirty greasy hands all the time and they make it easier than working with a hard handle screwdriver that takes a lot more grip to keep from slipping imo

My green handle Weras do get dirty but I agree they grip hard. You can get the same handle shape in a hard black material too - I have several of those in different sizes. They do not get as dirty (or they don't show it anyway).

yeah my largest one is a 200mm long shank, big beast screwdriver has the black hard handle with no rubber, but i can easily feel a difference in gripping ease with the rubberized ones vs the hard handle.

only difference you have to be careful of with any is when you clean them, i try to be as non-harsh as possible because you don't want to deteriorate that rubber, there are a few guys at work that had gotten wera VDE screwdrivers a long long time ago, and the handles have lost quite a bit of rubber because those guys end up cleaning their tools with mineral spirits quite often.

i usually go for some hand/skin safe wipes meant for taking grease off, and a little bit of mineral oil and they look like new.
