In the only town in Pennsylvania, Bloomsburg.
That damage from what it appears has a very small friction loss. Within the outside/inside unit I am sure there are far more restrictive areas, bet the king valves produce more friction loss due to restriction and turbulence.

Yup, kinked but not completely. You can go until the tube collapses. Then it’s totally kinked.

Take a adjustable wrench move it up and down over the crimp and with taking baby steps it will round out. It won be perfect but it will be a lot better. It doesn't look that bad.

When I installed mine I had to buy a 50 dollar bender for just one bend. Might have been worth it though. Now it sits taking up room in my toolbox.

That will likely be fine, but if you are really worried about it you can try take an adjustable wrench (or flat-jawed pliers if you have them) to round it out a bit.
