I'm far from an expert, but the only SK combination wrenches I'm familiar with are the old school raised panel ones that look like Craftsman but seem to be higher quality, and the "SuperKrome" ones they are still selling.
They used to sell an assortment of wrench sets like this in the back of the catalog on the last page they were called Carbon Wrench sets the part # above is 845S the s is for satin finish and cost $3.79 in 1970 they also could be ordered in the P number for polished. They also sold in the same section Economy Pliers which had no plastic grips just steel handles. To answer the above posts about who made them they are 100% SK economy wrenches and they are in all the old catalogs i'm sure to give dealers an SK product to compete with the lost cost tools flooding the market.
even this seems sk in name only? is steel and harndess the same? alot of th disvount stuff is below hrc40. if you can find cheap off label tools with hrc 43-45 they are a great pick up, tho.
Seems to me I remember reading somewhere that though SK made many tools, they contracted out their sockets (and maybe their wrenches). I have always assumed that is why the styles change across time. I only have a half dozen SK wrenches and they are pretty well all different. It therefore makes sense to me that they might contract out a line of economy wrenches. Sorry my memory isn't better.
Looks like a perfect set to toss in the emergency box.
