Hi Everyone, I need you Snap On guys. is 110.00 dollars good for a set of shallow metric 3/8 drive new in the box 6PT 8MM-19MM:headscrat
I have always wanted new metric sockets that were highest quality, Hazet, stahwille is first and second then snap on. I have new 1/4 metric and love em "There is a difference" yes I said that, You all know I am just a little partial to Craftsman and ussually what ends up happening is I buy a set of different wrenches, never use em and sell em to toolnut:bounce: because i always grab the raised panel:thumbup:

Should I pull the trigger? This seems like a good deal.
No pictures, No time I need to meet in one hour!!
I won't flake, but need to be reassured this is a deal, Thanks guys and snap mom, JBW

Yeah, that seems really high. Those come on CL all the time for 65-75 dollars. I gave $110 for a 7 piece Flank drive plus metric wrench set and 8to19mm sockets. Keep lookin...

I generally don't buy engraved, but I don't understand the premium for "almost" new, its a tool, its gonna get scratches and dirty.

Buying tools for show, when you already have ok quality tools, is a slippery slope.

These were sealed. They are still available. I did contact the guy and let him know I am going to pass and I was not coming to get them. I hate craigslist flakes:mad:

I've been wanting to get Stahlwille metrics myself. Less expensive list than SO. I ended up getting sets of SO 1/4 SAE and Metric through that government liquidation site. They might have some left. They appeared to be unused. There was a thread about it. I think they were $45-$55 per set.

I will use em, However I purchased the stahlwilles from repairman. My Craftsman are pretty tired with mucho chrome loss. I will put them in my motorcycle tool kit now, I never could bring myself to trade em in as they were my first set of metric sockets purchased for a apprenticeship at an independent motorcycle shop in 90 or 91.

Your funny:)

You would be shocked how many people buy tools just to sit back and look at them and never use them. I know a guy who has 2 triple bay KRL boxes and several Carts full of New Snap-On tools he has nver used. He doesn't even want anyone to touch them. Mine on the other hand when you look at the tools I work with you go "Damn dude, what the hell you been doing with those things"
