There are some hidden bargains and solid acquisitions amongst their lineup:

These are made by Wilde, only $23 for the set. Can’t beat that price with a stick.
I'll second or third those pry bars. I actually like the green better than the red of the old Cman pry bars.

I have no issues buying Masterforce hand tools.

I don't recall Menards carrying Makita tools since I started regularly shopping at Menards around 2001. My original Makita LXT stuff came from Home Depot around 2006/2007.
The did but it's been a long time ago, I bought a 9.6 volt Makita drill from a Menards in 1995 way before HD and Lowes moved to town. I don't know when they stopped carrying Makita, I thought it was after 2000, but time can play tricks on the mind.

There isn't a Menards near me, but I ordered some screwdrivers and nut drivers from them, which were made by Pratt-Read at the time. Not bad!
the current drivers are made in china. They're not bad. I have a set with slotted, phillips, square, and torx in a caddy on my bench. For general stuff, they're perfectly acceptable, and were pretty inexpensive. I got another set for somewhere else I keep screwdrivers out.

I've got a 36" cabinet and top chest, plus a side drawer set, Should have gone the size bigger, but oh well. They're the nicest stuff at the price point, much nicer than the US General stuff (which used to be cheaper, have not kept up) or what the other box stores had on offer.

So, I’ve bought the 18v Boost tools. So far they’ve been great. I’m a DIYer that also does side work. I bought them due to the price and they came with 2-5amp hour batteries for under $400. I have beat on them. The drill I’ve used to wire my whole home using an auger as well as all my side work as a handyman. I’ve drug it through dirt and mud and it’s still working. This is the brushless line. Lots of power. Augers through old oak floor joists without an issue. The circular saw is full size and works good. Cut all the floor joists and sheeting with it for my second story as well as the lvls. The mini portaband I have used more than I thought I ever would. Works great. My daughter did step on my circular saw and they replaced it with no questions. Nice part is they aren’t the right color for people to want to steal them.

I have about 80% of the Menards boost battery line. Impact driver, the hammer drill, ultra compact drill, recipe, 4 1/2 inch circ, 7 1/4 circ, oscillating, battery 150w inverter, and battery work light. They work great for me. Have survived drops from top of ladders and roofs, etc. plenty of power and noone tries to steal them. I wish the batteries were cheaper but I can usually find them on eBay or FB marketplace fairly cheaply.

I also wish the lineup was a bit broader, but I don't really have a need for specialty tools
