Is Race Deck Slippery When Wet

Hi All,
I've done quite a bit of reading in threads regarding flooring options and I'm fairly sold on Race Deck for my garage. My garage floor is level, so I'm looking at the Diamond Pattern Race Deck.
Main reason for installing flooring is that in the winter, or even rainy summer days, the floor gets deathly slippery on the bare concrete.
I want to make sure that whatever flooring I buy provides max traction when wet. I did take a sample tile, poured some water on it and then tested it out -- its hard to really tell how good the traction is when you have just one tile, but I still found it to be a tad slippery.

For those of you that have the Diamond Pattern Race Deck, can you comment on the wet traction? Or anyone have any better ideas?!

Thanks for the help!
-David

I haven't noticed ours being slippery when it gets wet. We have the circle pattern, but it's more flat than the diamond pattern. If you spray something like simple green on it, make sure you wipe it up well.. as with any solid floor, having soap on it will make it slippery

I don't sell Racedeck and I am not affiliated with them. I will say this. Almost any floor, when wet is slick. The open tiles provide the best protection if that is your primary concern.

Thanks guys for the feedback.

I've worked in places that have had epoxy floor covering with particles embedded (i guess sand?) in the epoxy to provide very good traction when wet. I'm looking for that same level of traction without going down the epoxy road. Actually a bit surprised that some of the garage-specific tile manufactures don't make a tile which has that type of 'sandpaper' traction feel to it. I guess my best option so far is a tile with either the diamond pattern or coin pattern...there is just alot of flat smooth plastic despite the patterns and I'm concerned I won't get the level of traction I'm looking for.

Thanks again.
