Is Ridgids LSA legit

I am thinking of investing in Ridgid's line of coreless tools. Everything that I have read suggest that the Batteries can be replaced forever as part of their Lifetime Service Agreement. Anyone have experience with this or their Lifetime agreement in general?

I've bought several Ridgid power tools and registered for their LSA. Haven't had to use it, though. They do say that the batteries and charger in the kit is covered.

I have read in several places that the registration process leaves a lot to be desired. I have also heard that Home Depot is pretty terrible about supporting the customer if problems with Ridgid tools do arise. I hope that isn't true.

As someone considering the purchase of some new cordless tools, Ridgid is high on my list.

Idk I have had luck with them bought a 14.4 v impact driver from Ebay and both batteries were junk took them in to a local elec repair shop and two Weeks later got a call to come pick up my new batteries free under home depot warranty. Sweet!

I have read that they are warranties forever. Hard to believe, but I don't remember where I read it and haven't taken the time to research and confirm it. THD has a good return policy, but don't have to help you after 90 days. At that point, it's between you and the manufacturer. That said, I havent had any trouble returning broken Rigid tools. I broke two of their ratchets and both times, the were exchanged without any hassles.

They have been good with my 150 drill press. Sent out another chuck and tray that bore. Considering that I paid 37.02 for this floor drill press, I am very happy. I wonder hoe try will hanle a motor failure if it happened.
