I think that except for the Tuff-1 ratchet's, they are making just about everything they did before, and then some in regards to speciality type pliers, such as various crimper's.

They stopped making everything that was not made in USA.

Does sk still make the palm ratchet the one with the odd selector switch.

I'm not sure what "odd slector switch" means, but SK does have this fingertip ratchet. All of the tools SK had that were not made in the USA are not on the new tool list. The green handled screwdrivers that were made in France are now made in USA. I contacted SK last night and was told that the new SK tool catalog will be coming out soon....I am now on the list for the new catalog.

Does sk still make the palm ratchet?

edit just answered my question http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/we...opping&utm_campaign=value3&utm_content=value4

No, they apparently don't still make them. What's out there must be old stock... try adding that to your cart, then going to the cart and selecting the "ship" option. It'll tell you it's unavailable.

Shame too, I like those "Palm Control" ratchets. It was a Facom design, but apparently was still USA made. I rounded up a set of 'em just because I like them, so now they're my go-to ratchets for most things.

I have the palm ratchets, but I don't really like them that much. They feel nice but I have a habit of putting my hand on the backside of the ratchet. When I do that it changes direction on me. Other than that they're great. :lol_hitti

Actually, I don't think they make them anymore. Advance may or may not have access to old stock through their distributor. Or, it could just be an outdated listing on their website.

Those ratchets are not listed on the new SK website, only the classic design that they've made forever.
