We are the Danaher. Resistance Is Futile. You Will Be Assimilated. :yikes:

I suppose the reason I was surprised to see that apparent Danaher design with an “SK” brand on it, is that I've generally thought of SK as a tool company that has successfully stood apart from the rest and charted its own course with its own (generally) well-designed product - not much out there that can be confused with SK, except the few contracts/outsourcing they've supplied over the years, like Kraeuter and Artisan.

"Tis what i used to think also... but after my experiences with S*K sockets, I have found taht they leave a lot to be desired. My money is better spent elsewhere....

I do have a couple of S*K round head ratchets taht I really like though. As far as round head ratchets, I feel that S*K sets the American industry standard... even my Snap On round heads aren't quite as smooth as the S*Ks...

Now, if we open it up globally, I have never used a nicer round head ratchet than FACOM...

Yeah I agree s-k sockets leave alot to be desired! I bought a 1/4 drive master set and I've never seen sockets round out inside so fast, I guess they must use a softer metal or something, but sold them and bought craftsman and haven't had a problem with them so far. I like to s-k proffesional ratchets, they have stood up to my torture test with no problems!
