Hello everyone, as the title says, does anyone know if Snap On has brought back the blue pearl handle? I was looking on ebay and found a new handle for a 3/8" ratchet. It has the latest Snap On embossed/painted letters on it, not like the old thin line script. I hope it has come back, and this handle is blue pearl, not the dark blue they have. pearl blue-1.jpg

Yes they brought back a limited amount and is next to impossible to get from most Snap On dealers. They had the SDDX70APB screwdriver set listed on the website for a short time but could not be purchased. I was told it is a regional promotion!

Just pulled the trigger on two of them. Not sure if this has been discussed, but do I need to put my regular metal handled ratchet in a lathe and turn it down to fit in these or?...

What is the part number for the blue pearl handle? I would love to get my hands on a couple of these.

Part # is FHD80-12PB, the PB stands for pearl blue. But good luck finding them anywhere but ebay. Seems to only be one seller listing them for the last couple of months.

This handle will only fit a 3/8's drive ratchet that already has the hard or soft grip handles on them. Not sure you would want to ruin a standard chrome ratchet trying to mill it down.

I talked to my Snap On guy about this color return, he hasn't heard of it coming back, I gave him the screw driver set part number and it came up as nothing. I had him swap handles on my 3/8" breaker bar from orange to the blue. He ran the number on the handle and it came up as nothing. He was puzzled, he said maybe it is an industrial color. I didn't know but there is a whole different side to Snap On, he said it is Snap On industrial and he can not purchase anything from the industrial side. He called Snap On and they said the blue pearl is being put back on the market for awhile but not yet. They did not give him a date.
