i have the set. The 10mm hangs up, was like that from the start. Wished they were a bit thinner around the heads, as they don't fit well in tight areas that are recessed.
Did you try a few drops of oil to see if that helps the 10mm?

Yes. Tried compressed air with more oil, after that didnt work.
OK, you did all you could. It would not be unreasonable to send it back and ask for a replacement under warranty. Tekton is good on the service side. A lot better than many.

If I remember right, all you have to do is email them and maybe a picture, and **** magic they send you a new one. For the warranty. I have the metric set of the flex long pattern and have had no issues. I don't use them often though. I have several other Tekton wrench sets and will get more as I need.

I just got my set and I am looking forward to using them. My only complaint so far is the long delivery time. About 6 weeks. if using the same blank on two different sizes saves some money I have no problem with it. These are less costly than the Mountain, Icon and Carlyle. Not exactly the same design. Both designs have their pros and cons. For me, I wanted the 6 pt box end more than the extended box end feature on the Mountain/Carlyle/Icon designs.

Tekton has always been very prompt with my orders. I order directly from their website.

Yep, I just got their 10pc screwdriver set in 2 days via FedEx Gnd

If there's anyplace Tekton is "dumb", it's not making a bigger deal of their US-made tools. Most still equate them as 100% Asian import low-dollar as evidenced by this thread.

They're smart by putting Dave R on this forum. Also their website is easy to use, free shipping and loyalty points. Honestly margins have to be thin.....to pay US workers in Michigan to make this 10pc screwdriver set, ship it free and give me $3.50 credit on my next purchase for a $35 set of screwdrivers.

They've gotta need volume of sales to make that sustainable....so spread the word: Tekton may not be Snap-On but they're not Pittsburgh Pro either, unless you can show me Pittsburgh Pro actually built in Pittsburgh (or MI and KS)

It’s that wrench length is due to being made on different machines in the factory if you would buy Blue Point, Williams, Expert, Mountain, Geawrench Taiwanese made are all most likely made in the same factory.. Dumb no they are okay mid grade quality tools and you can warranty when needed from the comfort of your convenience…

I ordered through a 3rd party because it offered me some other benefits. I Don't blame Tekton to give lower priority on shipping 3rd party orders. It was estimated to be one week when I ordered. Even if it ended up to be two or three weeks would not bother me in these times. But 6 weeks seems a bit excessive. Especially when their website said in stock the entire period. For some reason they willingly choose to have relationships with 3rd party sellers.
