Is the 46 inch Milwaukee toolbox still being produced?

The reason that I ask is because it is no longer available online or in store anywhere near me. I have been saving up for it by purchasing Home Despot when funds allow & I now have $600 set aside & the giftcards are non refundable so I am a little concerned.

I think the only way to get it is from existing HD store stock, which online will not tell you. The new 46 came out over a year ago and that is not even available anymore, I assume you mean the older style. The new bigger 56 is supposed to be out soon but its gonna be $1200+ and the new 40 mobile center $700.

Online availability looks to be zipcode specific. I just looked using my zipcode and I can order the box for either delivery to home or store pickup.

Indeed. I just checked & it is again available in my local store!

the milwaukee boxes in my district are seasonal special buy in stores. what that means is that corp orders x amount when there gone they are gone till next time they order them again. it's normal 3 to 5 times a year that they are in my store.

You can also look at the wrinkle finish Husky Industrial boxes. They seem sturdier than their standard offerings

I would second this one, unless you are a diehard Milwaukee fan the industrial version wrinkle finish paint scheme Husky boxes are better. I've had one in the shop for a year and half and it is good seemed much nicer than the Milwaukee offerings at Home Depot.
