Is the lows box worth the drive?

No, box is 12 inches deep with 3 drawers. Just a heavy glorified non-portable hand toolbox. Just my 2 cents.

i don't think I'm gonna damn truck gets 15mpg so id probably spend 50 on gas too if my lowes or one close had it i would get it

If you were in need of a box that size it wouldn't be bad, but otherwise no. I personally wouldn't.

I drove 20 minutes each way and got it for $18...it's still in the box.

I wouldn't go an hour...my .02

I bought it the other day for $32. It's a decent box for $32 but I wouldn't drive an hour and a half and pay $50 for it. If it were deeper and had an extra drawer then I would. The drawers are just not deep enough IMO.

Gas ain't cheap enough for me to do that. It's nice looking though, wonder how thick the steel is...
