They are made in china, seen them for less on ebay from time to time. I would get a set of titan or power built made in taiwan personally you can contact the US importer for warranty. From what I have heard, hard to track down neiko for customer service.

Recently, a fellow in here bought some Neiko wrenches. I believe his feeling was that they were about on par with flint spearheads as far as quality goes.

I might be wrong, though. But if you search this forum you should find the thread.

EDIT: Guess my memory is flawed. The OP of the thread felt ok about them, but some others had poor impressions of the brand.

I dont know what your going to be using it on or what sizes you need but I use some cheap Husky's at work on a makita 18v Impact and they have held up great. Think I have had them for a year now with no issues.

NAPA sells impact-grade hex bits for about $6/each.

You might also try a Gearwrench set. I've have a 1/2" set that I like very much.

VIM stuff is pretty good, from what I've read. I think they are the OEM for some other brands of bits and sockets.

I have a 17mm VIM Allen socket that is good quality. It's very similar to the one in your link.

I don't think much, if any, of their tools are USA made, but it's still good quality stuff.

I bought the Blackhawks by Proto Hex Bit Socket set but when it arrived it was chrome finish instead of black oxide. Blackhawks by Proto Hex Bit Socket set is high quality and well made but they were too tall. I am returning them and will order the Vim.

I've got a set of VIM triple squares (XZN) bits for VWs. They've been used a ton, and don't show any wear except for discoloration and a few scratches.

I bought the Vim Vm600 set and returned the Blackhawks.
The Vim are better than the Blackhawks. Vims are very short so they are very handy in tight spaces. The finish is high quality.
