Is the soffit baffles installed correctly?

appears to be correct. the baffle keeps an air gap at the roof deck, the batt insulation keeps the soffit over hang air space

The reason I ask is because a Morton rep was out today looking at it and said its not done correctly, and it should be done "Mortons" way. I had this installed by a full time insulation company so I am surprised it is done wrong.

The baffles appear to be installed so they are creating the air channel in the right way... but I could be wrong...

Some how Morton adds a wire stringer that opens the soffit area more, then a paper like Tyvek is applied about 3' wide going across.

It looks like there is a strapped metal roof on the building.
Is that what I see between the baffle & the truss, seen in the picture towards the left & top?
Where I'm going with these Q's ...
I know its a stretch but if you were planing blown insulation on a ceiling that is going to attach under the truss (like, what I think is normal position for the ceiling), that little gap I think I see might let enough airflow in, to blow the blown insulation away from an area of the ceiling.
I did say it's a stretch!!! Cause other than that it looks ok to me too. The baffles are not installed upside down or anything obvious like that. I would say you'll get ok airflow threw what I see there.

Looks good to me, I wouldn't sweat the small stuff. A whole lot of buildings are still standing before using them was common.
You also appear to have a nice heel height ( taller at end of truss to allow more insulation at end ).

To me it looks like the baffle ends into the batt of insulation? It should have an open end to the soffit.
I think the baffles extend past the insulation. It appears that you can see the end of the batt. If the baffles end into the batt, you shouldn't be able to see the end of the insulation unless it went into the end of the batt itself.
