Similar to like Camel for Amazon ?

I dunno what their newest 1.5 ton portable jack was going for (low profile Daytona aluminum one).
I did see a YouTube review stating it was $370. Not sure if that video was US or Canadian....

Anyhow, was wondering what the general rate of this jack was.
I don't shop HF often but I had a 25. The jack was $300 and after taxes, it was around $240'ish - which is perfect for the intended use *just to have a jack at the weekend house*. Won't be heavily used.

I've long wished someone would create a way to get a notification whenever a certain item of my choosing shows up in their email and in-store sales/coupons.

Their emails come out way too often (weekly, sometimes more) and are often filled with 100 or more different items for me to always look through all of them every time just to see if something I'm hoping for a discount on shows up.

It didn't pull up the SKU but a video showed the $299 (current rate) was also Black Friday HF pricing. Anyone, not sure if it's a sale rate, lowered rate, whatever (don't shop HF much so no clue how their stuff fluctuates). Anyhow, with the 240 out the door seemed okay for a lightweight low clearance jack . I have a DK13HLQ and DK20 that does the heavy lifting

Worked perfectly! THANKS!!!!
I've been wanting to catch the 20 ton press and 20 ton air / hydraulic jack on sale, but didn't expect both to do so just days after adding them to your price tracker. Sweet! Can't wait to get it set up.

How does this notify someone?
Did you click the link? There's a bright yellow banner that describes the email notification feature.

A HF price tracker website wouldn't be very useful because the price history graphs for every item they sell would indicate a slow but continual rise in price over time. :ROFLMAO:

There are HF coupon code websites, but even the best HF coupon codes you can find now (if you are a little bit patient) are about equal to last year's average coupon prices. It is what it is. Price tracker websites are really only useful for sites like Amazon, where prices often adjust up and down quite significantly at random times for reasons unknown to the buyer. You can get some amazing deals by setting alerts and/or keeping an eye out for those fluctuations.

Sorry, but you clearly haven't read the thread. User RandyF created just such a price tracker, and it has a lot of cool features that are geared specifically to HF so in addition to tracking the normal price of items over time, it also tracks things like coupon pricing and inside track club member pricing.

For example, if you were looking to buy a 56" US General toolbox, you could see that it's currently at the lowest price it has been in a couple years (since the tracker has been in operation) , including times when there has been a coupon available. That's consistent with what we know about those boxes since they're being liquidated to make room for the new series 3 boxes.

Also, using the "deals" feature, which shows items that are currently at their lowest tracked prices ever, we can she that a lot of the icon box accessories (hutches, end cabinets) are currently way below what they have been listed at since the site started tracking.

Another feature that is useful is the site tracks coupon history/frequency so if something you're lookinf for doesn't currently have a coupon, you can see how often coupons have historically become available so you know whether you should hold off or just pull the trigger.

The site can have glitches, but it's totally free to use, and the creator welcomes feedback on issues with the site. Plus, he is making updates, including a new notification feature where you can sign up to receive notifications when something drops below a threshold price.

I noticed that at least one of the prices is incorrect. the Bauer version of the Rockwell Jawhorse is not $122. It's only $99 on clearance and half the price of the Jawhorse. Too bad I don't need any.

Im not sure what you mean https://hfpricetracker.com/tools/58123 the price is listed as $99 and has been for months. Where are you seeing it listed as $122

hmmmm...Is this a duplicate? I found this on the Deals section. Also, my bad. it was marked as 22% discount at $139.
Ah yes I see the issue. Looks like these are different SKUs. Seems like they also changed the Name and picture at some point. Its on my TODO list to find a solution for grouping of items where they change the SKU. But there is also the issue of different SKUs can mean different manufacture so different quality/pricing so grouping those might mislead. I am open to any thoughts of feedback on how to best handle this.

Does anyone else actually *not* like HF sales? They pretty much guarantee that what I need will not be in stock.

Coincidentally, I just got back from HF with the set of SAE wrenches I needed.... which were out of stock last time due to being on sale.

This was the major reason I sprung for the Inside Track membership ($30yr/$45 2yr). Besides IT exclusive offers, they generally get the same sale prices during the weekdays preceding the weekend sales for everyone, which is why and when the deals on popular items get bought up. I've also had a lot better luck trusting the website saying they have an item is in stock during the week than I have for when it was a sale item on the weekend, which is way too often wrong. I live +40 miles from the nearest Harbor Freight so the IT membership pays for itself in gas alone.

Yup. It's a bit of a haul to the nearest HF, but it's the same haul to get anywhere in southern Indiana. I signed up.... sorta accidentally.... for the IT membership a couple weeks ago. Seems like it'll pay for itself easy with one big ticket item.

Sigh.... of course the 20 ton shop press is on sale this weekend.... which means they'll be sold out of them. I'm almost at the point where I finally have car parts and tools organized enough to shoe horn a shop press in here.

Do you mind if I ask why you went with the red Jack versus the Gray one? It looks like the Gray one is on sale for $99. Is there a difference between the two that I’m not seeing?

If there is or was also a gray one they didn't have it. I had to go to two different HFs to complete my order and the only ones they had at either location were red and they were on sale for $99. Judging from the advertising the red one is a 'new' item so perhaps it's different in some way other than just the color. IDK?

I was just glad to get the #60603 version of the press, the bolt together one in boxes 1of2 and 2of2. The ones they had on display at both stores was one of the welded H frame models (I believe they come in 3 boxes) and at neither store would they verify what the actual model #s were in the back before I made a purchase. They just looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language that they didn't understand when I tried to explain that they carry different versions of that press, so I just had to buy it and drive around back to pick it up to see which one I was getting.

I can confirm the red is just a new version of the old gray one. I just had to sell my gray one as it was too tall by the time I got my press brake all setup. I thought maybe the red one might be lower profile but it has nearly identical dimensions.
Thanks for confirming they’re the same. 👍
