Is there a thread where we could list "good guy" or "scammer"?

We should have a forum or thread where we can, based on transactions with them, list users as "good to go", "scammer", or whatever in between.

Similar to this on another forum I frequent:

I didn't think we had an issue here, but maybe I am being naive.

Looks like a moderator removed it from my PM after I notified them otherwise I'd post a screen shot. I had a scammer reply to my wanted ad today. They always target the wanted ads because their "friend" miraculously has the exact thing you're looking for.

So maybe not huge, but there's an issue lurking.

Report the spammers and they will get removed

I bet that user is gone...

I've had scammers reply to a wanted ad of mine too. Mods were on one of them before I even saw the message. Clicked the link from my e-mail notification and the "member" was already disappeared.
I have fallen victim to a hacked account of a real member so trusted someone I shouldn't have.
Its always prudent to get an idea of who you are dealing with as an otherwise known member could have his acct. hacked.
Watch for the telltale signs, I missed(ignored?) them and it cost me some $$.

What signs did you miss? It seems like a member in good standing, whose account was hacked, would be much harder to spot.

It was a FS listing in our classifieds by a long time member. I cannot be sure if the account was indeed hacked or the guy just went bad.
There had been plenty of normal posts from him, what I missed was all his activity was from years ago. I cannot remember the name and all traces of our communications have been wiped clean, ostensibly by the admin.
I'll sometimes offer to send a shipping label when buying as some here aren't savvy about shipping methods/costs meaning their(my) costs often exceed rates available to me. This fellow was reluctant and said he'd pick up not insignificant shipping. THAT should have tipped me but it didn't.
Aside this and a few lame replies to a wanted ad all my experiences trading here have been favorable, reflecting a decent group of guys. I recall you and I have done some business. I got comfortable trading here so didn't perform due diligence. Lesson learned.
The embarrassment is more bothersome than the financial part. I don't consider myself a fool, yet......... That said I'd rather be me less a few dollars than the shitbird who took those dollars
