I bought an oil pump sold for putting oil into a boat's inboard/outboard motor. I found it in the oil aisle at WalMart. Here's a link to one from West Marine. (Think ketchup dispensing pump.)

there is also a thing called a ratchet pump. it might work.

I don't know what sort of container you are pulling out of but if your going to use a 20L drum, we use these- http://www.industrysearch.com.au/products/images/p21577_9.JPG
they're about $50 Aus/d so you should be able to find something similar in the usa at a fraction of the price, they work very well.

I've used a 2 gal pump up sprayer with a ball valve from the plumbing section instead of the spray nozzle. It's kinda slow with gear oil but it does the job. It works a lot better with atf.
