Hi, does anyone know what kind of ****** jack this is? I just picked it up, and it leaks out of the top. I'd like to figure out how to rebuild it, but I don't even know what kind of jack it is. I have been looking online, no luck. The owner said he bought it new probably in the early 80's and thought it was a blackhawk or a HEIN-WERNER. The only number I can find on it is B10365 and the "1" is hard to read, it may be a letter. Thanks in advance for any help...bob

I don't think it is a hein werner, here is a link to a page that has a link to a model 64 and model 74 trans jack with some pictures.

It doesn't look like any of the blackhawk trans jacks I found either.

Hopefully one of the jack experts will be along shortly. Hiball really knows his jacks and also sells rebuild kits.

That's what threw me off. When I searched I didn't find any blackhawk or hein Werner with three legs.

Thank you very much Hiball. I went to look at another ****** jack a while back, and it had the same base, but was missing the top. That one had a badge that said blackhawk. So, I was thinking it was one but I have no clue how many different companies made ****** jacks back then. The owner said he thought it was new in the early 80's, I was thinking maybe it was even older. Before I take it apart, I was hoping someone would know what I need to have to fix the top leak. Do these have a leather seal? I hope the three legs is stable with a load, I just borrowed a 2 stage with 4 legs, that worked well.

I doubt the Seals are Leather in Vee form or Piston, Alot of these Transmission Jacks only use Oring's in a Rod application. IF it was Mine and your only wanting to fix whats leaking i would take that Tank nut off, Pull the Ram and see what the problem is. FYI.. Just because its leaking at the Top doesnt mean the problem isnt deeper and the Top seal just cant contain all the extra Oil. Is it a Single stage or Dual? If its a Single, It probably has a Ucup on the Main Ram.

Ok, I'll take a closer look at it. It is a single stage. I understand what your saying about the problem maybe being deeper and the oil showing up out of the top. Thanks alot for your help, jacks are all new to be, if it was a car, I'd know what to do! I **** at small engine repair too. Thanks...bob
