I agree with concrete finishing. The bronze made it an expensive tool, based on this 1920s catalog, over double the price of nickel plated iron.

It's a beauty! Would have been owned by someone who took pride in his tools and in his work. It's sure nicer than the one I have for jointing sidewalks. Can't buy one like that now.
