Is this a Craftsman hammer?

Recently found this fiberglass handle, ball peen hammer along side the road. I think I can see the last part of the word, Craftsman, and under that is the end of K-M. I searched but couldn't find many fiberglass Cman ball peens.

The last pic is one that I got off the internet, I think that is what the one I found would have looked like.

I added a pic with a part outlined in blue. I can see the end of the word Craftsman, and under that a K-M. That looks like the pic I put in of the head with the blue background that I found online. It looks like mine may have said Craftsman, but I couldn't find an example with a fiberglass handle.

Wow that's a good question...I have A LOT of different Craftsman brand hammers and 3 or 4 of the Ball Peen ones but they all have hardwood handles...and I personally don't remember seeing a fiberglass handled one. Though they did have fiberglass handled nail hammers both rip and curved claw and also a "engineer hammer" (3 lb baby sledge)

Looking thru an older 2000 catalog they all had RED handles then though, and the black grips had like an arrow head pattern <<<<<

The heads do actually seem a bit different though

I have SK that looks like that with light colored handle ,only marking is sticker which could easily peel off

I have Craftsman body hammers like that. Vaughan has made Craftsman hammers and axes since the beginning of time.

I definitely believe yours is Craftsman. That style handle was used from the late 70s into the 80s.

The fiberglass handled Craftsman hammers didn't fare very well as it only took one poorly aimed hit to splinter those handles.
