$4k for a KRL791APHA top box and KRL761BPHA bottom chest. I wish it was 30" deep but I can overlook it if its a deal.

Price seems OK, but may be negotiable since it's at a pawn shop.

Here's a snapshot of my local used market for reference.

You could do much better than 4K for that, IMO. It looks suspect to me. I don't think I'd go over $2,000 for it, but honestly I'd hold out for something in better condition.

There will always be people that settled for almost as good and went on to be quite happy that they settled. ;)

almost as good with a lot less hassle and unlike a used snapon box which was treated in unknown conditions, for who knows how long. The valuation on used boxes which inherently trade at less than new prices for the damage done to them seem irrational compared to an almost as good box with none of those questions and hassle attached to it

That box looks rough for the money. It’s old, can tell by the style caster. I wouldn’t pay more than $2k for that setup.

fwiw, I scored a mint 84” epiq for $4300.

Looks like rust on the drawer slides and on the top of the lower box? probably other areas too. $4k is way too much IMO.
