I became owner of this same model of saw from my father-in-law, as I recall he used it a lot and I am not aware of any issues other than buying various blades until he finally got some that held up. I am finally getting around to cleaning mine up and ready to buy replacement blades I have a question for you is the blade width 1/2" or 3/8" I know the length is 59 1/2"?

Welcome to the site. No direct experience with that exact saw, but horizontal saws of that size pretty much always use 1/2" blades. Should be able to tell by measuring the step on the wheels where the blade runs, blade needs to be wider than the step to clear the set on the teeth of the blade.

Hey guys, as you can see by my loggin I might know a little about these saws and I am on the hunt for a few models just so I and a few other family members can have one. Sorry to say there isn't any rare valuable ones or anything cool like that but I am looking for a model 101, and I think a 457 if anyone is interested in selling any model please email me at [email protected] if I don't respond please keep trying. I'm interested in parts saws repairables or runners. also I'd be happy to point anyone in the right direction about any question or parts. Thanks Jason Bainbridge..
