If you only own 2 pilers, a multi bit screwdriver, 6" adjustable wrench and a 8 oz claw hammer yes. Otherwise no. I'm not one to recommand HF, but look at their new 26" combo. My two cents.

No! That is the BASIC ball bearing box. I have the intermediate drawer version of this, not worth the money. The drawers have way too much side to side movement. This leads it to not being latched on both sides alot. The slides are not that sturdy feeling, i think my husky boxes are better qulitty imho.

For a $200 box, it's probably fine if you don't have tons of tools and don't plan to use it on a regular basis.

Back in the late 90s, I bought a red Craftsman homeowner's box (top, intermediate, bottom). It was non ball bearing and had bars that went in front of the drawers when locking. It was my first roll around box and used it regularly for a few years, including professionally for one year. I had it waaaay overloaded and eventually the slides in the bottom box gave out.

I still have the box, but it's been retired to the basement workshop where it doesn't get used very often. If I would've used it as designed, it'd probably be in better shape today. I gave it an overhaul and now it works pretty well for occasional use.

My two cents on the box you're asking about...for a homeowner using occasionally, it's probably fine. If you're planning to use it on a more regular basis, I'd probably look at other options.

I will say that if you have a little more money to spend and can afford it, take a look at this HF box. It's a decent quality box for the money.

For light homeowner use at $200, sure. It may be a nice starter box depending on the amount of tools you own. +1 on the recommendation for the harbor freight 26'' roller just to compare. It is ball bearing also, with a nice smooth red finish.

To the OP; I was going to purchase one of these boxes or similiar to the one you are looking at but after all the research I decided on another option...

sure its $400 more, but hell... for $600 I'm very happy to see it every day. $349.99 13 drawer bottom coupon on this thread, $249.99 ITC top chest.
