Without a bit more information on both units its hard to judge if one is better. You can buy the one pictured and Tee them together and use both to run your hi demand tools.

Agreed. If your 11.3 cfm is struggling to keep up, the 12.6 cfm isn't much of a gain. You should look at a 5hp compressor at least. They put out around 18 cfm which would be about a 50% increase over what you have. Go even bigger if you can.

It seems to me that you have little experience looking at compressors.

The basic rating on a compressor is CFM at 90psi, perty much the standard. So giving a 12.6 and a 175psi is not what you need to look at. The 175psi is usually max rating for a 2 stage compressor but it is probably 12.6 at 90psi BUT with the creative numbers invented by the marketing department the 12.6 could be anything.

Read the above and be a better informed buyer.

Besides, I don't think I would run a die grinder at 175 psi, it would probably vibrate you arms out of the socket before it exploded! My 25+ yr old 5 hp 2 stage IR will do 19.1 cfm at 175psi....but it wasn't cheap either.

If you want to run a die grinder non stop, you just about have to go with a 7.5hp 80 gallon. My comparison is about as apple to apple as I can get. Work has a IR 5 hp 80 gallon, I think those spec at 17 or 18 cfm. At home I have a IR 7.5hp 80 gallon good for 24 cfm. If I'm using a die grinder at home, my compressor will kick on, run and shut off with me never stopping. The work compressor will keep a die grinder running, but will never catch up. One thing i looked at when I was buying my compressor was spending $2000 on a big one, or buy two $800 compressors and plumb them together. I don't know if the math works out to true double the cfm of a givin comprssor by working off two, but 160 gallons of air at 175 psi is a lot.
