seems a little high to me, likely because of the new motor. If the bearings are in good shape and its not a POS motor Id say its an alright buy, but if someone worked it hard enough to wear a motor out, the bearing are probably pretty worn as well.

Also, is that the original handle? I dont believe I have ever seen one like that. Looks like a good idea though, shorten it up as needed for quicker travel.

If it was a floor model Id say its a fair price, for a bench model, nope. Notice I said fair, not good.

Agreed, old iron is much better, but that doesnt make it rare or valuable. The yuppies keep the Chinese plastic drill manufacturers in business.
